DAY
Clint Eastwood will lend his voice and likeness
as 'Inspector Harry Callahan' for a new video game series based on the "Dirty Harry" films.
Eastwood will also consult on key creative aspects of the game design.
"This will be an opportunity to satisfy the many requests over the years to continue the 'Dirty Harry' legacy, only now
in the video game medium," Eastwood said.
Eastwood's Malpaso will partner on the project with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.
The 'Dirty Harry' character has already been spun off into pinball and first person shooter arcade games.

STUDIO SPEARHEADING NEW "TUROK" GAMES !!!
Classic Media Inc. have licensed the video game rights
of comic book property "Turok" to Buena Vista Games Inc.
The new "Turok" games will be developed by
BVG's Vancouver studio, Propaganda Games. BVG plans to publish "Turok" games for multiple console/handheld game platforms,
including next generation successors.
The original "Turok" property, created by Matthew H. Murphy, debuted
in Dell Comics' December 1954 issue of "Four Color Comics" #596, focusing on two pre-Columbian Indians 'Turok'
and 'Andar who set out on a hunting expedition and get lost in a dinosaur valley.
The 1960's Gold Key/Whitman published "TUROK" comic books relied on a similiar story theme throughout their series
runs.
The 1993 Valiant Comics version of "TUROK", set in the Old West of the 1860's, revolved around 'Kiowa'
Indian hunters 'Turok' and 'Andar' who are transported to an alien dimension while exploring a cave in the desert. Emerging
in a 'Lost Land', Turok fights against 'bionisaur' creatures.
"Turok" made its video game debut on the Nintendo 64 and has appeared on PC and multiple console game
platforms, selling more than 5 million units.
Propaganda Games studio founders Josh Holmes, Daryl Anselmo and Jorge
Freitas previously worked on the "NBA Street" and "Def Jam" game franchises for Electronic Arts.

WARNERS LOOKS TO LIBRARY
FOR NEW GAMES DIVISION
Warner Bros. continues developing video games with its Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment/Warner Bros.
Games, to distribute titles under its own brand name.
The division is headed by Jason Hall, co-founder
of developer Monolith Productions ("Matrix" video game).
But while Warners looks to plug into the video game market,
other studios are exiting.
DreamWorks sold its game unit to Electronic Arts Inc.
and Fox Entertainment Group's movie unit sold its games business to Vivendi Universal Games.
Warner Bros. movie-licensed
games include "Harry Potter" at Electronic Arts and "Enter the Matrix" at Atari Inc.
Hall says he intends to tap Warner
Bros. vast film library for potential video games.
Aside from "Dirty Harry", many other lassic actioners
will be considered including "Excalibur", "The Wild Bunch", "Bonnie And Clyde", " Blade Runner", "A Clockwork Orange",
The Lost Boys" and "Bullit".
"It is obvious to practically everyone that the video game business is very relevant to
profitability and the extension of film franchises," said Hall.
